Clearly 'Eddy & Crew' are feeling the pressure of our towns' NO campaign!
Advancing Aberystwyth would have you believe that the No Campaigners are some underground hardened vigilante group who's sole aim is to destroy the future of Aberystwyth, this couldn't be further from the truth.
The No Campaigners are all business people of the Town who oppose the BID, which we are legally entitled to do, just as much as the Yes campaigners want a BID, and those behind Advancing Aberystwyth have lost total sight of this democratic process.
The No Campaigners love the Town no less or more because they oppose the BID and there is no hard evidence that proves that the past 5 years has been a success, otherwise there wouldn't be a No Campaign, obviously it has its flaws.
There are people from outside the Town, who are also business people, who have experienced a BID in their own Towns and share their thoughts and experiences. No different to people from outside the area giving positive comments on the Advancing Aberystwyth page, it is what it is, freedom of speech.
What is apparent is that there are different reasons and all valid, whether the Yes Campaigners agree or not, for not wanting another 5 years, and we are all free to voice that opinion and have to take it to a page such as this or others and not on the Advancing Aberystwyth page for debate as they simply delete, block or ban anyone with anything other than a Yes voice.
So sorry to disappoint, we are just normal business owners of Aberystwyth who are voicing our opinion, some people simply need to accept that.
